Discussion : Reading Slum

Okay, if you have been following my blog, you probably realize that I rarely done book disscussion before. But I decided to write one because I think this is something that many readers have suffered including me, I suppose.

For you who don't know what reading slum is, well, I don't really understand about the term either actually. I've just heard about it few moments ago. But I came to the conclusion that reading slum basically a moment where you just getting lazy to read and feeling devastated because well, reading is your life.

Honestly, I never realize that I have been suffering reading slum until I watched about it on YouTube. *I give credit to Sasha Alsberg's Abooktopia*I think every readers has their own  So, I guess this is how my reading slum began.

Setelah begitu lamanya menunggu, akhirnya saya dapat membaca karya Ilana Tan. Honestly, she’s like one of the best author in the country! Saya sudah membaca seluruh karyanya, dan karya terakhirnya ini sungguh-sungguh tidak mengecewakan. I’m sure I’m not the only on who say this because all of my friend does!

Review:

What will happen after the great happy ending? It will be a new story to be told I guess. Anyway,it’s a little bit hard for me to get my hands on this book and I have to wait a year for it. But it’s worth the wait.

Review :

The Jewels is definitely not something that I usually read. While most of the times I choose to read books with more familiar environment, this book gives me quite a strange world. I mean, yes, there are some divided society like some kinds of dystopians. But how the writer introduce the world is not easy to accept. It's more like we are forced into the world. It's kinda hard for me to relate the world in the book and the world around us.

Insurgent ( Divergent #2) Movie

Okay, so it's been a while, a week or so I suppose, since the premiere of Insurgent. Therefore, I think it is the right time to post a review because most of you must have watched it and won't mind some spoilers right? Well, that and another reason. The other reason is that today I got some rare opportunity to post an article. Anyway, here we go

Review :

Well, Young Elites is definitely a must read. This is my second series written by Marie Lu and I LOVE her writing so much. It’s definitely different than Legend Series, but still as gripping  as Legend. Compared to Legend, the book has darker atmosphere, which maybe more fit with my current taste. But the idea is still as unique and fresh as Legend, which is my favorite Marie Lu’s traits

Okay, now let’s stop with the comparing and start to see the book as it is.

Well, since I haven't been writing for quite some times, I think posting another article won't hurt, right?

To be honest, the last time I read Insurgent was two years ago and I haven't re read it. So, maybe I miss some scenes or forget a few parts of the story. But there's definitely some scene that I don't remember supposed to be there, like the flying house?
