So, we are on the very edge of the year. New Year’s coming up. To be honest, this year went really fast. I almost can’t believe  that it would end in a couple of day. But I do realize that there are some changes to me. There’s a lot of thing happened to me this year, including this blog :D ( Yes, guys. Well, a great book to  finish the series. You know, I didn’t want to read the book at first,  because of the spoilers . For you who have read it, you must be understand what I’m saying. But again, Divergent is on of the series that I have followed since beginning. Then,I thought this is the last one. I have been a big fan of Divergent. Following up every news and craving for the next book since I read it almost three years ago. So let’s finish it.

Why I Love to Read

Reading and writing are obiviously my favorite hobbies. I’ve been reading for ages. Since I was nine or eight, maybe? And it’s been wonderful thing to do. Some people say reading is a waste of time. Well, it’s not exactly wrong, it’s HOBBY. We do our hobby in our free times. But there are some benefit that  I get from this. A book with a nice cover I guess. And to be honest, it is the main reason why I was  interested with the book.But the book turns out to have a great idea : a triplet descendant of Medusa, with a little twist from the mythology. Really nice idea, I suppose.

Review :

Like most dystopian, this book has an interesting plot. It’s hard to predict what will happen next. Since the first time read Legend, I always have a questions that make me want to keep reading the book. Like why Day, a talented and skilled boy could turned into a street criminal.  And everytime you think you have found all the answers, there are always more questions popping up. Until the end book, there are some questions that haven’t been answered, making the waiting worse.

 The one on the cover, she is America ,right? The colour of her hair is kinda brown,but I'm sure she is America. I mean, who else could it be? She looks really excited and pretty at the cover. Like the book before, this book is fantastic. Cassandra Clare keep the book interesting! I know lots of you have read it and my review would be out of date, but I’m still recommend it!

Review

First I need to say that I was really schocked when I realize that the author is a boy. Gosh! I mean, I have read many books written my a male authors, but those are fantasies, not romances! And you know what surprised me more? This book is really good. It is romantic ,sweet, and realistic at the same time!  Kadang-kadang ketika saya membaca buku roman, saya merasa ceritanya terlalu dibuat-buat. But not this! Saya merasa buku ini benar-benar romantis tapi tidak berlebihan. Mungkin karena laki-laki yang menulisnya, sehingga terasa lebih logis. If you read the book, you won’t see lots of sweet talking or cheesy date. But you’ll see two people , doing something that only they can enjoy! ( I’m talking about their winter plans :D ).

City of Bones is coming up and I can’t wait *fangirling* . I’m in love with the book and I hope the movie wont disappoint me. I’ve heard the album’s preview and I think it’s great, eventhough most of the song have a little dark atmosphere. Two hero in one book! What should I say? Fantastic! Nice job, Mr. Riordan! Anyway, I believe that most of you already know that this book is about Carter Kane and Percy Jackson. But if you wondering, this book was narated from Carter’s point of view only, which is kinda sad. I was  hoping to see Percy’s thought about Carter. The events set after the Serpent’s Shadows and before the Heroes of Olympus series, I suppose. Since Carter said that they’d defeated the god of chaos, Aphophis and Percy didn’t seem to believe there’s another mortal with superpower besides Greek Demigods.

 Gosh! I'm a big fan of Winna Efendi and I've been waiting for her next book since the last time I read Unforgettable! How long is it? A year or so, maybe? I went straight to the bookstore the moment I heard that she just released a new book.

Lost In Babylon ( Seven Wonders #2) Cover Release!!

About a month ago I posted my review about The Colossus Rises, the first book. I love the first book and has been waiting for next one. So, if you love the book as much as I do, you must be thrilled to see the second book's cover.

For me, the cover is really attractive and I love it! It is simple and full of fantasy. The colour , red, is a little bit contrast with the first one which is green.

I think the boys in the cover is Jack and Cass? Because Marco is a big guy and Aly is girl. Anyway, for you who wondering, the book released on October 29th

Ada dua alasan kenapa saya membaca buku ini. Yang pertama karena covernya yang keren. Kedua karena teman saya merekomendasikannya. Penilaian saya mengenai buku ini adalah 4 atau 5 dari 10, jelas bukan buku terbaik yang pernah saya baca. Tapi saya rasa saya mempunyai alasan yang cukup baik untuk itu.

I was so happy that I finally bought the book! I love The Selection and I was waiting for The Elite like so damn crazy. For you who haven't know it, this book is the second book of The Selection series.So if you are interested in reading the book, I recommend you to read the first one. The Selection series has a novela too, The Prince. Anyway this is my review :

Well, this one comes in ebook only. It conssists of only 50 pages or so, I don't think I can do much review from those. But if you like the Selection , you'll love this one. The Prince was written from Maxon's POV. I love it because it told us about a piece of Maxon's life , also his opinion about the girls. I think it was really cute and funny the way Maxon reacted after meeting America for the first time. It seems like he was like a normal teenager, without all his awkward attittude. And for Daphne, I feel kinda sad about Daphne,though. Hope she could find a better man for her :)

My review :

Five out of five. I definitely recommend this book! I remember the first time I saw this book on the bookstore, I was interested with cover immediately, mostly because my favorite author, Rick Riordan, put his comment on the cover :D . And I am not disappointed at all. I love the book. I think I fell in love with the idea and the storyline.

Beatrice Prior, an Abnegation, always feel that she doesn't have selflessness in herself. Instead, she always admire the Dauntless. Beatrice need to choose between her family or her own desire. She hope that the test will help her to chosoe, but instead of getting one result, she get three. People like this called Divergent, and said to be dangerous.

My review.

This is a dystopian and science fiction novel. Some people often compare it with Hunger Games, but I think this book has a totally fresh idea. At first, I felt that the beginning was a little bit too slow. But after Beatrice join the Dauntless, I felt that the book is getting better and better that I think my heart was pumping a little bit harder.

Buku yang cukup mengharukan  bagi saya . Pada satu dua bab pertama, jujur saja saya merasa kurang jelas dengan buku ini? Sungguh, dari segala kemungkinan bagaimana mungkin bisa salah memesan sekolah? Memang, perlu diakui bahwa ide dari Our Story agak sulit untuk dikembangkan, tapi Kak Orizuka telah  membuat ide itu menjadi satu buku yang menurut saya sangat menarik. Bahkan, menurut saya buku ini adalah salah satu karya Kak Orizuka yang sangat saya sukai.

My review
It is been years since I've read it and I still love it! I always like the Percy Jackson's series, but I think this one is the best of the series. Because in this book, Percy and Annabeth started to show some affection to each other. They even shared their first kiss!! I think it was funny the way Annabeth started to act jealous toward ant other girls that close to Percy especially Rachel. And the way Percy jealous whenever Annabeth started to defend Luke. Both of them act so obvious to each other but remain really oblivious.

Saya membeli buku ini beberapa bulan yang lalu, yaitu ketika liburan natal yang lalu. Buku ini merupakan debut dari Anjani Fitriana. Saya sangat menyukai buku ini. Pada awalnya saya mengira buku ini adalah buku yang ceritanya sudah sangat umum. Tetapi, Anjani Fitriana mampu menceritakan hubungan Jenar dan Reynald, kedua pemeran utamanya, dengan sangat seru dan lucu. Bagi yang belum membaca, saya merekomendasikan buku terbitan Bentang Belia ini. Buku ini tidak akan menjadi membosankan walau sudah dibaca berulang-ulang.

Yes, it is true!! It is The Selection! Recommended! For you who haven't read it yet, i think you should! Anyway, this book captive my heart since the first time I saw it in the internet and I remember how I kept searching for the book everywhere. This is the first book of a triology. The second one, "The Elite" has come out one or two months ago, but sadly I haven't got a copy. So, this is my The Selection's review.
