Review :

As I promise, this is my review of The Guard. I have read this one for a while, actually. But you know it. The story is told in Aspen’s POV. And I’m a Maxerica fans so I don’t really like anything Aspen related and really lazy to make the review. But,again, The One is coming up. Yes it is two days away ! Yes it’s the only thing on my mind. Then, I remembered about this book that I haven’t reviewed. I didn’t intent to make one, to be honest. But I have made all The Selection book reviews, so why not this one.

Before we go a little bit further, please forgive me for the curses , especially if you are a big Aspen fans. Seriously, I don’t mean any offend. I’m just trying to voice my mind that probably has no filters. Please, don’t judge me, I’m a fangirls.

If you ask me, I will always say that The Prince better. Of course, I love Maxon and I want to get to know him better. But Aspen? Why the hell do I want to know him better?!!. But before you assume the I hate the book. Let me tell you this. I HATE ASPEN. But I DON’T HATE THE GUARD!! The book still written wonderfully in Kiera’s style. It still shows you interesting characters ( Besides Aspen , of course -_-“) and it definitely has amazing plot!

Just to prove that I’m telling the truth. Let me give you a list of things that I like from this book

One. The best thing that I like about this book is that Aspen realize how good Maxon is compared to him. So BACK OFF,ASPEN!! AMERICA IS NO LONGER YOUR GIRL!! SHE IS BELONG TO MAXON!! Okay, I’m so sorry about that but I really need to blurt it out. Seriouly, I have read lots of love triangle stories and I usually choose sides. But I never hate the other sides as much as I hate Aspen. Not even when Simon started to date Clary

Two. I love that the story is involved around the guards and America’s maids. It tell us how the works and everything. I mean, all this time we have been told about the glamourous life in the Selection. The fancy dresses, party, jewerls. But we never really get focus on who actually work for it!

Three. If you ship Aspen with Lucy, then read this book! Totally recommended! I hate Aspen, especially when he is with America. But that doesn’t mean I don’t want him to be happy, with other girl of course. And I want that other girl to be Lucy!

Four. The story also told you a sneak peek about what actually happen. And I think it’s going to be important to the main plot of the series.

Five. The book will tell you the other side of Aspen's characters. Eventhough I hate him very much, it's still nice to see the other sides of him. And they aren't that bad afterall. But I am still on Maxon's side. MAXERICA ALL THE WAY !!!

So I guess those are things you are looking forward to if you are going to read it! Eventhough you hate Aspen as much as I do , or more, but as long as you love The Selection series, then this book is for you. It still as amazing as other book of the series. Seriously, there are only two small things that I hate about this book. First , it is told in Aspen’s POV. Second, I really hate it that Aspen keep saying America is his girl.
But if you could handle those things and looking forward for the goodness of the books, then grab a copy. This one is definitely for you!

Well, that’s all I supposes. The One is two days away! Start your countdown! BYE!
